1969 Camaro RS LM1?
I picked up a few cars and one of them is a 1969 Camaro RS, I suspect it being an LM1 but am not positive, it has the born with 350-4bbl suffix code HR 255hp/PG, it also has a 12 bolt with 5-multi-leafs, PD front brakes, and is pretty loaded with AC and PW.
Build date is 10C Reason that I am asking is that I don't believe I have ever run across a PG car with a 12-bolt, and I want to get it right before I advertise it for sale. Thank you |
It is rare; several LM1/PG 12 bolt cars in the db.

My '67 SS 350 was built with a PG and 12 bolt.
May not apply to the '69 model year...:confused2: |

I thought the 12 bolt was originally specified with a 4 barrel carb in a 1964-72 Chevelle and a 1967 to 1970 Camaro. after that a 10 bolt differential was issued. That's what I remembered.

Love to see pics of the car.

I have had more than one LM1 with the orig P/G.
Casey Jones on this site still has one. /Rich |
Yes, LM1 350 with a power-glide will have a 12 bolt. SS 350 Cars with a power-glide will dictate a 10 bolt rear.
So even better is that you have a 69 LM1 RS loaded and these cars are usually loaded with kool options. http://www.camaros.org/lm1.shtml |

I have an all-original matching number 1969 Camaro LM-1 with a powerglide and a 12 bolt. It was built in LA with a 09B build date.
