I’ve had my 1991 454SS since October 1999 and it was pretty shiny when I bought it.

Now? Looks like a barn find, but boy, has it been a great truck!

The 4.10 and 4L80E make a difference IMHO.

Having driven these back when they were new, the one downside I encountered is that if you use it to tow your race car to track only one buddy can go with you.

Probably not a deterrent if you are a former Corvette guy, though.

----I'm sure you are aware that the 1990 SS's are equipped with a turbo 400. The 1991 and 92 ones carry a 4L80 trans with overdrive. Plus,,,If you can get one the red ones or white ones they command more money as they are rarer. Only black was available in 1990 on SS's. Id' love to find a white one for a decent price myself.....Bill S
