That’s a pretty car with the grey over silver

Man that looks silver but silver wasn’t available in the chevelle. I think only in corvette?

luzl78 05-31-2021 02:35 PM

1969 corvettes had gunmetal silver as an interior color option, not 1970.

----Nice 375! Pretty rare with power windows......Bill S

Beautiful car but that is a terrible ad IMO since there no info about the car at all.

Below is the description when it sold at auction in May 2019 for 60k.

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, L78 , 396/375 HP Big Block, M21 4 speed trans., buckets, console, tilt, power windows, CA smog equipment, wide O oval tires, Shadow Metallic Grey, frame off restoration, RARE Fremont, CA built car, 09C build date, very rare, sells with original engine block- see photos for engine block serial numbers, many rare and expensive NOS parts were used in this restoration, VIN 136370L111800,

Richls5 05-31-2021 07:22 PM

good grief! i knew the price was ambitious but wow. i spoke with a salesman there that had no idea about the car he just said the owner bought it and 12 other cars recently

Richls5 06-27-2021 08:08 PM

they still have the car....and still clueless no one knows if its numbers matching and said theres no docs if i was closer i'd inspect and make a offer no where near the 118 though

Rich, I get dozens of emails a day asking for help but do not recall getting one from you nor do I recognize the car. I am about 2 hours from there but not sure when I could get up there due to our current workload.

(edit) Whoops, just saw our PM. I will respond.
Rick

I'm 40 minutes from there.

Richls5 06-29-2021 02:35 PM

I’m gonna pass on the car I think it’s not legit from what I’ve gathered and I don’t want to waste anyone’s time going there and checking it out
