67 RS/SS 350 4sp convertible on BAT
Looks like a nicely done mostly original car. Air was added, and unfortunately spoilers along with it. But otherwise a very nice car in highly desirable color combo.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...ign=2021-05-21 First generation cars have been bringing strong money on BAT.... but - this morning we saw a bid that jumped from $45k to $60k. Things that make you go "hmmmm". |
Except for the rear tail panel seams that are blended into the 1/4 panel, it looks great. Why do people do that?
I’d want a better pic of that trim tag…I don’t like it based on that pic.
Anyone care to comment on the engine stamp? Sure looks odd....

I dont like that engine stamp either. Its definately been altered.
An SS350 engine pad would have a partial VIN but the lower horsepower engines in '67 did not so I bet the last letter was altered.

Are the VIN tag rivets correct? Thought they were rosette shaped...or is that just certain Chevrolets?

Sold for $78.5k!! :eek2:
That is unbelievable! I’m after a 67 Z and if I find one soon, my SS350 is going on BAT!
$78,500.00 is a lotta cake for this car! Let's see if the buyer follows thru.
And a 67 Z sold for $92,000 plus fees this morning at Mecum! That SS price is insane!
Mark, you had posted that you were looking for a 67 Z under 100K...so I am wondering if you bought this one?
No Graeme. I’m not familiar with the car, so I don’t know how nice it really was. If it was legit, I would have definitely bought it.
Cool. Wasn't sure if you knew that car or not...or how correct it was.
The price was decent I guess. |
That is a lot of money for 67 ss 350.
There are a chitload of uniformed buyers right now with load of money.
Not just uninformed, but willingly misinformed it seems. BAT has its share, but I think it really started with the Treworgy collection. |
