Vintage T70 wheels and Avon tires

3 Attachment(s)
Set of 4 T70 wheels, Chevy 4 3/4 pattern. 15x7. Plus Avon tires in sizes highlighted in yellow on spec sheet. T70's are nice in that they have a deep back space so you can tuck tires in nicely. Asking $3400 plus shipping. If you have interest happy to dig these out and take and send all the pictures you may want. Thanks

Man!!! These are awesome. Might be helpful if you could show pics of the width difference of the fronts versus the rears.

Photos of width below. Open to trade for something different. Must be 15", 4 3/4 pattern and no shallow backspace and vintage only. Repro tires OK. If offering trade is against the rules let me know and I will remove. Wheels and tires priced at top of thread. PM's only.

Price drop. $2950

Will these fit a '68 Camaro without rubbing?

BillD 05-28-2021 12:26 PM

Not an easy question. Will share what I know.

Backs no problem

Fronts:
If using stock 67-68 Camaro disc brake calipers tires will rub as you need a spacer to clear the caliper

Drum brakes are OK

Smaller 1969 style disc caliper is OK

In general I like the T70's as they have a deep backspace which keep the tires and wheels tucked in the wheel well nicely. I don't like tires sticking out of the wheel well although this is a matter or personal preference as I know many seem to like this look.

Thanks, Bill! These would look amazing on my L78 (with drums).

I am Camaroless at the moment but will post a photo of these on a 68 later today if I can find some pics.

Avons are great. I just put them on my 650 horse Kirkham Cobra and they hook-up great. The prior tires would not grab in any gear.

Here's a picture of the wheels on a 68. Looking at the picture I think I would rather keep the wheels and find another Camaro to put them on............not an easy prospect at this point in time.

THAT looks great! IMO, nicest looking day 2 wheels.

Roger Krause Tire in California. They just got a container load two weeks ago, he had $250,000 in tires on back order. Fortunately, I had my order in six months ago.
