Some of these ads are hysterical and informative. An era when being PC was not in advertising and marketing executives minds.

Post your favorite muscle car related advertisement!!!

Do any of you have the article from July 1969 drag week with Ed Hedrick driving a stock Yenko Camaro that went in the 11’s? I think it was drag week.

I like the Challenger T/A ad that shows the car with the grille of a 1971 car; I guess there were plans to continue building the T/A into '71?

Sort of. The 6 pack would be no more so what would have been the point?

This thread is for actual auto and accessory vintage ads. I have replaced the AC pin-up with actual ads.

That picture of the 69’SS Camaro in the field was taken on my nephews grandparents farm 7-8 miles from where I live in Northern Michigan. Lots of photo shoots and car ads shot in our area over the years.

Speaking of inappropriate ads, here's a worse one also note Posters of Sandy were available.
Some old ads are surprising even for the swinging years, LMK if removal best and I'll delete it.

Yes it was! The 1971 Advance Product Information booklet that Chrysler put out showed that the T/A & AAR were still being planned for 1971. There is a page in it that shows the new lighter weight wheel that was going to be used. It also shows that the 440-6 was going to still be available in the Sport Fury GT and that the Charger SE would be getting it as well.

These are the aluminum wheels that were going to be made an option in 1971. That's the Diamante Show Car.

As seen in this month's issue of Hemmings Motor News, Mercury's entire 1967 advertising campaign had the tagline "Mercury, A Man's Car".

The 2nd one I liked much better and I have sold them all except the ones I kept for myself, but I always loved that add.....Bill S

These advertisements would make really great garage art. Does anyone sell these laminated on a board? Thanks Bob
