So, change of plans for my Camaro....

I've always thought that my car was better suited to a different engine, so through some interesting twists of fate, got this to replace the broken 302.

That will turn some heads!

Mark,
I fully support this superchargeous position and believe this is just the boost your wheels need for rotational gastronomous discharge!:hmmm::biggthumpup: BaaaaaZiiiing!!!:3gears: Cheers Dave |
THAT looks like fun!! :burnout: Are you gonna run with a cutout hood or no hood?

Thanks everyone. Honestly, it's the first purchase since I bought the car that I'm truly really excited about. Thanks Dave....I think :scratching head:
The hood of the car is cut already for the old tunnel ram, but it's going to need to be cut a little further for the pulley, but I'm OK with that. Some prior owner had the red repainted on the hood for some reason and he painted it a completely different color red, so cutting that part and repainting the red entirely is not a problem. Here's the car at the last show I was in, the Hot Wheels Legends Tour in Miami. |
Gorgeous car Mark. Those two will look perfect together, keep us posted please!

Thanks again. Will do. I'm hoping to get it installed in the next week or so.
I also just got a set of new stainless headers off a guy in Palm Beach who has two 1969 Z's, one orig 302, the other with a CE 302, and a '67 with a 1969 302 also. Super nice guy. I told him about the site so hopefully he comes on. He's from Greensburg, PA, not too, too far from where I grew up in the South Hills of Pgh. He, his twin brother and dad bought a brand new Z in 1969 from Grabiak Chevrolet and they had some other Camaros and Vettes as well. Hopefully we'll meet up again when when all this stupid Covid stuff is over. |
