Nice NOM 1 owner '69 SS396 on BaT
|
Beautiful!
Dusk Blue is one of my all time favorite GM colors. A great looking 1969 Chevelle. For that purist owner....just need to correct all that is not GM correct. Dan |

OMG, I just read thru that 10 page repair order (or at least what parts were readable) that was done over the course of a year from 2000 thru 2001.....not a lot that was NOT repaired or replaced :eek2:
Kudos to the seller for the incredible amount of detailed photos! |
It's kind of a shame all those parts were replaced on what probably would have been a very original car IMO.
|
Very true.....it`s all about being in the right hands.

Hmmmm, I seem to recognize a bidder's name in this BaT auction :naughty:
|
You blew my cover Bill....LOL. The first thing I would do is drop the rear a couple of inches and put some thin white walls on it. Probably not going to pursue it much further. If it was a '70 I'd be in till the end.
|
Might be easy-peasy to drop the rear a couple inches....just let the air out of the air shocks? If this car had a Parchment interior instead of black, I'd be in it to the end.
|
Bid to $29K, reserve not met.

|
Absolutely the same car. Much more thorough description of the backstory than when it was on BaT.

Too bad for what's lost but still lots to like about it also salute to the OO Navy man.:flag: A few years earlier, Oak Hill Chevrolet Eastchester was the sponsor/delivering dealer of Billy Lagana's '63 Z11 'Locomotion 2'. :beers: ~ Pete . |
5+ days left on the auction and it's already within spittin' distance of where it ended up on BaT.
Great pics, Pete! |
