'69 Camaro...need a VIN for that Goodmark body?
What are the chances that the tags *won't* end up on another car? 124379N518174, for posterity.

"THE CAR NEEDS TOTAL RESTORATION"
Me: Spits out coffee |
Ugh !

Ocean find.

----Miami cars have a way of deteriorating that is literally unbelievable. Salt in the air does a job on cars left out. I'm surprised the dash didn't get hammered worse!.....Bill S

Wow, it has air conditioning ...
|
"UNFORTUNATELY FRONT WINDSHIELD IS CRACKED." Yeah, that's a real deal breaker :rolleyes2:
|
Interesting, it has a metal PS cap. Enough changed that it's not a great datapoint though.

this is the 2nd go round on this cream puff...not sure what the winning bidder the other time was expecting?
|
Right. It got up to $3150 last round, but I assume the winning bidder bailed on it.

My brother found a number matching 'restorable' 67 camaro SS vert just North of Miami 2 blocks from the beach sitting with flat tires. I bought it sight unseen for $1500 and paid $1400 to have it shipped to Pa.
When it arrived in the car hauler, first they pulled the ferrari off the upper level. Then the 48 rolls came pulling out... Then we pushed out my camaro.. it was worse than this car. It literally had sand falling out of it from the wind blowing sand in the holes in the body where it had been sitting. I noticed what looked like frame connectors and I realized someone welded those green fence posts to the rockers to keep car from folding in half.... moral of story...dont buy a beach car from South Florida !! |
"Will only go up in value..." :haha:
This car makes some of the Wisconsin cars I have seen look like a dry Arizona survivor. |
