Not too uncommon. The green top was more common with frost green, btw.

There is a triple green Fathom Green RS Copo out there too.

Green is one of my favorite colors on Musclecars. I had a Fathom Green 69 Chevelle, wish I still had it!

I swear, growing up there was a triple dark green '69 Camaro on every other street around the Pittsburgh area. I hated it as a kid, but now I'd love to have one, although I do have to say that the green interior still doesn't do much for me as it seemed cheap because there were several 4 door base '69 Chevelles and Impalas around with a lot of the same green interior pieces (that one-bar steering wheel especially).

I hate green!! But when I saw the Fathom Green/ black stripe Yenko at Reunion 1 in Tennessee, I was hooked. I painted my Yenko tribute FG w/ black YSC stripes. I love it!

Green...

My first L78 Nova was a Forest Green 70...always liked that color. The Camaro with the triple green colors is very cool.

I'm a green exterior fan, but not so much the triple green stuff. I like to see something breaking it up. I may be a little partial since we have 2 green muscle cars here, both with white interiors, one with a white top. But painting this stuff everyday eventually you get a little tired of black and red, so it's nice to see some of these other colors coming back.

Old Z I had a few years back was Frost Green 59, parchment vinyl top E and medium green standard interior 721 with white z stripes. It's one of those ones I wish I'd kept.

Now that would be a really cool looking Z with different colors breaking things up.

Mine is Frost Green 59, with 729 white deluxe houndtooth, but with black stripes and no vinyl top. I wish it had a top on it, but would prefer a white one to keep things tolerable inside with the AZ heat.

My car started life as a Frost Green, Black vinyl top Medium Green interior grocery getter.
I really hated Frost Green, but now I love it too. That Frost Green Black Stripe Z looks awesome.

Closest I can find of the paint with top.

x33rs 06-04-2020 01:28 AM

That looks really good. I'd love to have that parked next to the Z.

Lee, love the maroon with the white stripe/top/interior. Very classy Z

Last year there was a very nice Olympic Gold (wife's favorite color) 69 Z on ebay, with white top, stripes, and interior. I almost put a bid on it. It got up into the low 6 figures and I assume it sold, never saw it again.

x33rs 06-04-2020 05:23 PM

Wow thanks Mark, that was fast.

my 69 Camaro SS 396/375 car is fathom green with midnight green vinyl top and medium green standard interior. I have been in contact with the original owner who bought the car from Central Chevrolet in Atlanta while home on leave in the Navy.
