I will give away a trick I use and I am sure OTHER restorers use as well...
Zinc plate them then spray with ZINC COLD GALVANIZING then take a crumpled up paper or crumpled aluminum foil and "blot" at the surface to give it the spangled look. The sharp edges of the paper replicate the crystaline look. EXAMPLE... https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw...-no?authuser=0 |
