Day Two Perfection?
To me, this is dang near Day Two perfection. The experts may have a different opinion, but this thing looks as good and as right as so many I remember rumbling around Pittsburgh when I was growing up in the 70's.

That’s a member of this site “Vince” His car personifies Day2
|
Vince “vinny” is a great guy. We worked together for many years back in the 1990’s. Rob

I do believe that is "the perfect looking Day 2 Camaro". I saw it on Facebook and immediately started thinking twice about my car and perhaps leaving the original driveline off to the side and doing the exact same thing with it. I'm still stuck on that. lol
It's a great looking car, Vinny. Leaves me wondering...do you ever get together and cruise NY or Jersey with these other guys? :haha: Must be something to see if you ever get your car together with theirs? :beers: |
I'd change the rear end cover to a finned design and swap to square traction bars, and some 8' Cragars; never been a fan of that deep a dish. Otherwise, that's a BMF!
|
There's not one thing I'd change on it, not one.

thank you all :worship:. I took this pic easter morning and posted it on a facebook page I really enjoy 70s street machines. it truly went viral. internet is a small place. thank you for the compliments. coming from this site and its members means a lot.:beers:

That’s a nice looking car with a great stance. The only thing it needs is some tire rubber stuck to the lower part of the quarters...
Would like to see a few more pics... and a burnout video!! |
Its perfect, and looks very much like my first car, which of course I have no pictures of.
|
This is how I remember them. My cousin had a hugger orange 69 RSZ with this set up. I also remember a black 69 Camaro, but maybe with 10 x 14's. I like the 10" and seem more correct for a 70's Street Machine style, but the 8" look good too.
What size tires? 295 X 15? Zoom |
I believe Vince is running N50/15 Pro Tracs on the rear.
|
Long Island Vince is the man. Great car and a good Dude!

This thread is a tease. 3 pages and only 1 pic of that car. There should be a law!

Looks timeless! In another 50 years it will still be cool!
|
Looks cool with the old Mickey's on there.
I have an NOS set of 50's here. |
How does that ride with the bias plys?
|
The red one from Hot Rod with the oil filters under the bumper. That one was the best.
|
Nailed the look with the tires, they fit perfect

Here are a few more early Camaros that are either Day 2 or Day 3 that just appealed to me

That car of Grady's has still gotta be the best day II car ever done. Very clean, very much understated, and drop-dead gorgeous from every angle.
Plus...it's a Copo  https://www.yenko.net/forum/attachme...1&d=1588183244 |
