1969 L89 Camaro RS/SS
|
Is it the photo or are the 396 emblems over the stripes?
|
Why is it that if there is documentation on an L89 car it always seems to be a POP. Didn’t see a photo of it unless I missed it.

Probably more so because they are so readily available and easy to make

Another pet peeve: gaskets under the front side marker bezels. Never happened in production.

I still have an original owner's packet from a 68 Norwood camaro 6 cyl vert. that I sold years ago. It came with the original protecto-plate and stencil punched book and the original body broadcast sheet that was apparently folded in half and placed there in the packet. All in extremely great condition. Out of over 200 early camaros that I have owned, it is the only camaro broadcast sheet I have ever seen with a Norwood car. |

Here's a Norwood body broadcast sheet from my Pace Car. It had three separate Body brodcast sheets in the glove box along with the window sticker. I bought it in 1981 from the dealer that ordered it.

I found a Broadcast sheet in the springs of the back seat in my 69 Camaro..

That's interesting.
Fisher Body built the bodies, including all interior soft trim and seats. The completed bodies were then transferred to Chevrolet final assembly, at which time the last six digits of the VIN was assigned. They were queued in the body bank and released to assembly based on labor content. Body and Chassis Broadcast Copies were printed by Chevrolet when the completed body assembly was released to the line. For a BBC or CBC to be stuck in the rear seat springs, someone in Chevrolet final assembly would, for no reason, have to remove the rear seating and place it there. Like to see what you have. |
