Norwood Camaro and Firebird Display Cincinnati January 10-12

Cincinnati, Ohio this next weekend:

In conjunction with the KOI/Federated Autoparts Cavalcade of Customs ISCA event a special group of Norwood, Ohio Produced F cars will display.

This presentation will be part of the larger show and will include 8 Norwood retiree "Ambassadors" who will be on hand to discuss how cars were assembled in plant and to answer specific questions you may have about your car.

Ambassadors will be located at a special table next to the Last car produced at the plant to be showcased within the one of a kind animated GM ''Heartbeat of America" display.

See you there.

ZL-1 is one of the Yellow cars.

#57 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfR8jTDdpM4

Interesting.. I thought Tony Lucas owned #57?

61 vert 01-12-2020 12:18 PM

Unknown zl1

That is not #57 nor is it the other Daytona yellow ZL1 #3 listed in the registry. .Maybe a new find? I would like to hear the story on that one.

61 vert 01-12-2020 12:38 PM

If someone at the show would please snap a picture of the vin , I would like to see it. Post it here please.

Thanks

Pretty late car to be a Zl1. Not on the 69 supercar registry either. Does it say anything about being a tribute car anywhere?

Saw Phil Boris on the local news giving a blurb about the last Norwood built Camaro.

Just so everyone knows, the ZL-1 was brought in to the show by show producer who informed me that it was car #57 just days before the opening.

A buddy put his 6cyl Camaro in the Cinnci show, this yenko was there. I believe that’s his car behind. He didn’t send a pic of the TA next door. WTF.

61 vert 01-13-2020 05:25 PM

Oops

sounds like the producer was mistaken.

The owner of the ZL-1 simply neglected to include "Tribute" in the description on the entry form.

firstgenaddict 03-01-2020 10:28 PM

1987 model?
I did not realize that production of the 3rd gen at Norwood ceased prior to the 1LE.
