I might be parting with my trunk next year and have no clue on where I should be on a 4sale price. I see allot of later 2500 HD's and to my surprise used trunks that can tow are $$$$ even with lots of miles.
so I am looking for your valued opinions.

2001 2500 HD Silverado, 8.1 L 496 cu gas Vortec , Allison tranny. 3.73 Axle
45600 miles PS PB AM FM AC Brake controller.
No winters, 100% corrosion free, all body panels dent and door ding free.
Mostly all tow miles. Minimal interior wear, better than excellent condition.
Thanks :youguysrock:

----Very cool hauler, Mike! Got everything a guy needs. I'm having a hard time giving you a clue as to value, as I can't find a comparable. Just finding any 2-3 year old truck here in Michigan without the bed all rusted out over the wheel wells and also bad rockers is just about impossible, so you know how bad the under side is. I do think someone on this sight would buy it for a very fair price as he would know who he is buying from!!!
----If I didn't have my 93 510 cube 3/4 ton Burban (bought from a certain ZL1 owner) I'd be making an offer...…..Bill S

Nice stripe!!

Wild guess based on condition and mileage non diesel which can be good and bad 16-20k. do you have all service docs and original paperwork
Cool truck, I like it. Let me know

I agree with previous post mostly. I think that if it were a diesel with a couple extra doors it would be 15 to 20K. That was the 2nd to last year for that big old 8.1 Liter gas V-8.
I'm going to guess a little lower on price at 12k to 16K. What a beautiful truck and i know if you owned it, it is probably as good as new!

Yes, and the window sticker.

Mike,
Looks like a 2wd truck. Is that correct?

Sold mine about a year and a half ago on Ebay. Same exact truck, but in white, 37k miles, $7,800-no reserve auction. The guy flew in and drove back to Mi. He was excited, and happy. FWIW

m22mike 12-28-2019 11:52 AM

Thanks for the input, just seems low for a truck like that with 37K miles. Were you expecting that ?

As an example, I just sold an 03 Silverado 2500 ls 4x4 extended cab
Short box, gas 6 liter, 60 k miles. Excellent condition no winters no wrecks etc
For $ 14 k. I’m happy and the new owner was also, it may of brought more money
on the internet, but then who knows how many people it would of taken to buy it
and or show it to.

you can buy these trucks really cheap and totally rust free here in Oklahoma. especially the 8.1.

markinnaples 12-28-2019 11:41 PM

I think the issue is that the "hot" trucks these days are diesel 4 doors. The gassers, especially single cabs just don't pull the money like the oil burners with extended cabs.

He definitely got a lot of truck for the money. I thought it was cheap, and the buyer was too happy when he flew in. Sometimes you lose, with a no reserve auction.
