This was ay my local car show this past Tuesday night. Amazing time capsule and IMO was the star of the show! |
This car is registered at the COPO connection.

I couldn’t believe what I was looking at. Never mind it being a 9561 but the originality of it was stunning! Most ppl looked at it and just walked by. Like it was just another camaro lol.
Window sticker, PoP, racing history ect.. Was purchased from Valenti Chevrolet in Connecticut |
711 Trim, 10 10 Paint, 9561, How Sweet.

Using the CPI inflation calculator, $3892.70 in 1969 dollars converts to $27,286.98 as of August 2019. Read it and weep!

At the Elks cruise?
|
Window sticker is an aged repro.

Did you happen to see it? I didn’t get a chance to talk to the owner. |

Don't know. Never saw it and not aware of anyone that has.
|
Nice looking car.
Sure is an aged repro window sticker.Don't let him try to pass it off as real. |
At first glance I thought I was looking at Beardy's COPO but then I saw the hubcaps. As long as Beardy owns his it'll never have the caps back on it. LOL
|
That WS will fool most people.
Can you get a pic of the trim tag next time you see it? Thanks! |

I have the COPO connection book I bought from Ed and I think the year was 2000. Really great info. I’ve read it so many times. |
Hi !
This car is listed as "documented" in the first COPO Connection Source Book, just like mine was. It is under "Berger and L-72" When I saw it at the carshow near Hartford I didn´t find my little camera, so I couldn´t take any pictures. I remember the owner saying that it had been sitting in a garage for a long time because of a problem in one of the cylinders. He said he had sleeved it, "just like they do in Nascar", and it was still std bore. He didn´t have any paperwork on display at that show. |

Wow that is a good window sticker... makes one think there was a piece of an original or a car shipper or something it was made from...
