I’m getting really tired of winter. I’m running out of places to pile the snow...

BJCHEV396 03-03-2018 06:23 PM

Haven't had snow here in Ottawa for about a month Helmut! Hardly any left on ground either.Might be Spring raking lawn in couple of weeks if this weather keeps up!

Just finished clearing my place too Helmut. Got another 15" in most spots and some drifting of 2' here and there. Neighbor came over with his bobcat to make it an easy clear today.

Snow is just another four-letter word ... I don't miss northern Wisconsin at all ... TAZ :cool2::cool2:

Nice in Scottsdale

We feel for ya!
I used to plow a paint factory with a bobcat. 10-12 hours in it and you really appreciate silence. We were lucky this time and the snow was all around us, we just got a bunch of rain.
I think we are all ready for spring!!!

"Tired of winter"

That's kind of funny coming from a guy that lives in Canada

Warm and sunny here in AZ.

JKZ27 03-03-2018 11:37 PM

Just got through some 50+mph winds here in the east this weekend, no damage thankfully. Haven't had much snow this year, yet.

You have a good point. Just to set the record straight... yes, I am Canadian and I enjoy a taste of winter along with the snow, skiing and other activities that go with it. I would definitely miss winter if I lived in a warmer climate. However, like all good things... one can drown from over indulgence!

I like summer much more than winter. Bring it on already!

Whoa, I knew you didn’t mean anything by that. We’re good.

Funny as it seems... a lot of us Canadians are sick of winter. We’re stuck with it, so I guess we make the most of it.

What's the big deal with a little snow? Pushing it with this is no challenge and a few doughnuts are entertainment too. :burnout: This time of year it'll be gone in a few days.
I do not do well with heat and humidity!

NorCam 03-11-2018 01:35 PM

Now that the melt stage is finally hitting Western Canada, I went around the acreage yesterday and plowed some paths through the low spots to allow the spring runoff to flow through the property as it normally does. Something tells me we're going to see a lot of water here this spring. If you click the picture to blow it up in size, you can see the snow layers. The bottom base is from January and all the rest (4 layers) are all from February. The 3rd highest snowfall accumulation in Alberta history for the month of February? Global warming my arse.

Apparently we got more snow a couple times this past week... but I don’t give a darn!

NorCam 03-30-2018 07:15 PM

That's so NOT cool to be saying that when you're not here.

Sorry man... all of a sudden I DO give a darn because I’m coming home tomorrow.

Is the snow gone yet???

1969camarors427 03-30-2018 10:21 PM
