Is this a known good date.

After being screwed by a member here on yenko.net.
I’m looking at a 1111499 distributor for my 03B Yenko.
Is the date 9C3 a known good date.

Thanks
Rodger Styke

P.S.

I know buyer beware. So much for guaranteed good.
LoL

if they sell here, there is a grantee that they will stand behind what they sell or will not be allowed to sell...

you should contact a moderator and see if you can get it resolved..

as long as i have been here, ive never heard of a member being taken advantage of by member...they weed those types out quickly...

a really good bunch of guys here...

Man, so sorry you had a bad experience, I have always hoped that this site would be like an informal car club or fraternity of dedicated guys that have ethics and held to a higher standard of trust....and for the most part it is just that. Good luck finding that elusive piece.

Just to clarify Rodger was given an opinion on a distributor, which turned out to be incorrect. The distributor is NOT a restamp and Rodger is happy.
I suggest for anyone moving forward with a claim such as this, that they look at several other examples and get opinions from knowledgeable people. Everyone makes a mistake, and If I'm not sure about something I seek out those people I can trust. :beers:

Thanks Steve,

I was going to post this information myself. I apologize to the
party in question. The issues have been resolved and I have learn
a valuable lesson.

Thank you to all!

So, back to the original question, Is the date 9C3 a known good date.

:dunno:

m22mike 12-20-2017 11:53 AM

Yes.

Rixls6 12-20-2017 12:50 PM

Someone here claimed a distributor I was selling, was a restamp also a while back.
Almost torpedoed the sale on me.
Sometimes the experts aren't so expert.

enio45 12-20-2017 03:18 PM

Glad it all worked out.....especially on stampings and judging, not everyone is an expert, so when an opinion is given, it should be vetted multiple times. Many many members here have so much knowledge and outstanding examples of original stamps, thus we can pretty sure nail down the authenticity.

Glad it all worked out.....great site, great support and great guys!

Steve , Now may be a good time to fine tune the money back guarantee rule on the site?? with specifics and limits I think too many people think it means that basically anything the buyer wants is an acceptable remedy , regardless of where they bought it ,when they bought it,and who else handled it during the time it was received. Really need to put a time limit/specifics/conditions on it IMO. A buyer should be able to decide when the part arrives if he wants it or not in a few to several days etc for one. Hasnt been too much of a problem overall , but i think this instance shines a little light on the need for it.

Fast67VelleN2O 12-20-2017 09:24 PM

Almost like how the "experts" claimed my BE rear was a restamp, when it wasn't, with other known examples and dates of mine, and cost me a sale from a member.
