Charlie, like we agreed, Kenny and I will pay all shipping for these two cars to our shop and trade you 2 Large Mascar Classic t-shirts in return for the title of these cars :)

See you at the show :)

Did you peak Charlie :) I have already talked with the driver .... he says on the way back he can drop that old black car off at our shop and leave you that amazing AMC with you :)

scuncio 11-15-2017 03:20 AM

Looks like the Bonneville with the 5-digit chrome bill. Can't wait to see it!

tom406 11-15-2017 03:57 PM

We are heading into Chicago Friday. Just bought tickets online because I hate spending all my pocket cash getting into the venue (why no credit card entry?-it's 2017.). I finally convinced my collector buddy Gary McKay to join me and check it out. (If there's a Yenko.net meeting place with a secret handshake, someone please advise;). Hope to see many of you and your cars. Especially looking forward to Charley's LS6 and Pontiac. See y'all soon..

Charley Lillard 11-15-2017 05:05 PM

Brian Hendersen has volunteered to be the hand out spot for name tags at the Supercar Workshop 68 Yenko display. We can also probably con Xplantday to walking around handing out name tags since he knows everyone.

What you should do is to post here a blank name tag and let everyone print it our and use it

A12pilot 11-15-2017 07:11 PM

No, see. That's not going to work, Frank. We all need to see how lousy everyone's penmanship is so we can realize that we weren't the only ones drawing hotrods and looking out the window at cars in 1st grade while that class was being taught!:scholar::eek2::haha::frown:

Cheers
Dave

I have 120 printed, and they are stick on labels. Maybe next year we'll have fancier reusable ones you posted Dave.

That hotrod you drew in school does exist.

A12pilot 11-16-2017 11:38 AM

Bwahahaha! That's awesome! Look at that panel alignment! Hmmm....part Superbird, part Delivery Van, part Airstream?

Cheers
Dave

flyingn 11-16-2017 01:13 PM

HAH Dave so right. You don't want to see my penmanship. I went to public schol! :)

I'll say it again this year - how do they keep finding the significant and quality cars to keep the show fresh and relevant?

Another impressive show, well done Bob and crew. Great to see everyone.

big gear head 11-20-2017 01:51 PM

WooHoo! Man I had a GREAT time. What a SHOW! Just unbelievable! 17 hours of walking around looking at cars and talking to people. I heard so many great stories about cars and the past and present owners. I got to do this again.

CamaroNOS 11-20-2017 01:53 PM

Thanks once again to Bob and company.

You all put together another outstanding show.....actually the best show around.....bar none.

Looking forward to the 2018 set up already.

Paul

I was pretty stoked when my 66 Bonneville got Judges Choice for best Pontiac at the show as there were alot of very nice and rare Pontiacs.:CharleySucks:

mockingbird812 11-20-2017 02:14 PM

Stunning Pontiac! Well deserved! Congrats Charley. and as someone has said before (can't remember who).... Can I have it?! ;>))

big gear head 11-20-2017 02:51 PM

That's an awesome car Charley. Also an interesting story about the salesman who ordered it, and a very talented man who restored it.

L78_Nova 11-20-2017 03:10 PM

That Black paint was Hypnotizing !!! beautiful car.
Gotta love those 4-Speed Steamships!!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello.
