For Sale: 1973 Camaro Z28 **10,195 original miles**

*****pictures are posted in below posts*****
I have finally gotten tired of car shows- time to make room in the garage .
For sale 1973 Camaro Z28 - this is an original car with 10,195 documented miles .the car was a show car since day one. I have complete owner history, window sticker, pictures from original owner when first delivered , in April of 1973 . Original owners wedding pictures in the car in June of 1973 ,letters from the original owner about his ownership of the car. I also have pictures from the second owner who purchased it in 1991 with 2,800 miles on it. I have spoken with the remaining owners- and have their info on the car.
The car is stunning, to say the least the original code 74 dark red is beautiful and the white stripes set it off beautifully . Black STD interior no console- correct ITM shifter and knob- yes reverse lockout in place
The is some 50 hours alone in buffing and polishing the original paint .
The car is numbers matching from front to back . The original owner put a different exhaust system , koni shocks and crager SS wheels - I located dated wheels for the car and had them finished correctly -yes correct raised bow tie center caps are on the car. I have 4 original tires for the car.
I had a Gardner exhaust system installed on the car, and spiral shocks installed .
The car scored platinum in 2016 and is a bench mark car for the 1973 cars. The original owner was reunited with the car during the show. The judges were amazed how the finishes of the hardware in the trunk had not changed color . Those that have seen the car are amazed at its condition .
There are paint marks, factory stickers , chalk marks - all over the car- drive shaft, rear, front springs , master cyl, power steering pump, fire wall to name a few. If you are looking for one of the best - the car runs and drives beautiful . Where is the next one?
Price is $59,995 OBO

Wow, I like that car. Those L82's were quick, also. Four speed and no AC, just the way I like them.

McCune 10-21-2017 01:25 PM

That test car info was a AC car and the LT weight was 200 Lbs heavier than a regular Z28. The 4 speed 3:73 cars were faster than 15 seconds.

I don't have any actual stats, but I can tell you this....I traded in a 70 Z28 on a brand new 73 Z28 and kept it for 27 years. In real world street driving there was very little noticeable difference in performance. In totally stock form, the 73 would not quite bury the 130 mph speedometer.....maybe 127 or so :eek2:

Bill -- when I bought my 70 Z28 new at Doc Stewart Chev in Clovis NM ... it ran pretty strong. In fact, I took it to Ernie Walker's Amarillo Dragway (3683' altitude) and raced in in B/PS under NHRA rules. At one time I held both ends of the record at that track -- 13.88 @ 104.22 ... factory Goodyears and thru the exhaust. I didn't think that was too bad considering the altitude, etc. Craig

I had an original 1970 RSZ with 9600 miles on it sold it in 2006
It was an M21 - 4:10 car - it ran fantastic! But I had to buy 100 octane leaded fuel by the
5 gal Pail at the local motorcycle shop. This car is more streetable it uses 93 unleaded
Which I can get right around the corner at a gas station - there are a lot of boats in the area here and they need non-ethanol fuel- that is all I put in this car and it runs great.
