Aren't the clamps already attached to the OEM and replacement hoses ... ?? TAZ

no

Interesting -- supposedly the front disc brakes of the 70 Nova are the same as the 69 Camaro. The brake hose I got for my Nova had the clamps already attached. But -- I don't know where the hell I got them ... sorry ... TAZ

Ed,
I have 8 sets if interested that I purchased over the years. They have a "C" Stamp at the Apex of the loop. Dave

Ed,
Not a problem. I will send pics this weekend of the clamps. The NOS hinges I have were for my 67 Z, but possibly thinking of re-plating the originals for the are different than the 69 model year. I will let you know if I willing to part with them. Dave

They are both the same.....no lefts or rights.....They were glass beaded and are in nice shape for there age and have a nice crisp "C" stamp.

Ed, did you have ANY shadow of a doubt?

enio45 10-17-2017 09:14 PM

What will be the finish for these? Silver cad? black/gray phosphate? asking for a friend.

luv2sixty9 10-19-2017 12:26 AM

black/gray phosphate or natural I would venture to say. That's why they are hard to locate a pair that aren't all pitted beyond recognition being they receive a lot exposure to the road conditions.

Ed,
I will ship them out tomorrow afternoon. Thanxs Dave

I was doing some research on these clamps for my restoration and there is clear evidence they were originally clear (silver) zinc plated and the attaching bolt was manganese (dark) phosphated.
