New MCACN Magazine!

We have wrapped up the new annual MCACN magazine and it is now on the press. It has 80 pages that are filled with a sampling of what we have in store for you this year at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show, November 18-19.

Although it has plenty in it, it is a mere sampling of what you will see. This year really is over the top, no matter what brand you lean towards!

If you are on our mailing list, you will get your copy soon, as we start mailing 10-15. If you aren't or are not sure if you are, sign up now (before 10-10) to make sure you get one. You can sign up here; http://www.mcacn.com/carshowmagazine.htm Due to the costs and time constraints, we will not be mailing any individual copies if you are not on the list.

We are truly on the countdown now, and I hope everyone is planning on joining us, and remember to please help us spread the word!

THANKS;

I am all in:-)

This year I will be helping with move in Thursday and Friday :-)

It would be a sin to miss it!!!

I know lots of people wouldn’t consider flying in to go to a car show..... try it, you will like it!!! So easy to jump on the shuttle, even I figured it out.

I'll take a copy!!!!

Please mail it:

To: Me
Address: My House

Thank you thank you!!!!!:headbang:

I've distributed a few hundred brochures for the show personally. I cannot confirm if you fly on a plane headed to Chicago, in the seat pocket ahead of you, there may be a safety briefing card, inflight magazine, and a MCACN brochure. :hmmm::biggthumpup:

Remember, as the official Airline of MCACN, we offer specials rates like 1/2 off any double overpriced fares...oh....and Free...that's right, FREE happy hour when you stay at any Embassy Suites! :haha:

See you guys in a few weeks!:burnout:

Cheers

Dave

Thanks for the kind words all!

And as I stated in another post, this magazine represents a mere sampling of what we have in store for you.

No matter what brand, make or model you lean towards, I can pretty much guarantee you will be pleased with what you see and the people you will meet.

And in addition to the various Official Host Hotels Happy Hours, don't forget to visit Dru's Lounge at the DoubleTree! Rumor says Dru, (aka PSYCO) is buyin...

Frank.... my fellow NJ Brother from another Mother. Let me be the first to give you advice:

Display: No need for crazy stuff... your CARS are it!
Hotel: As soon as 2018 Official Hotels are announced with rates, go online and reserve rooms at the Embassey Suites for that Thursday prior to the show, and leaving Monday morning after. Free happy hour, free Breakfast, enclosed walkway (all but 33ft) to the show in case of bad weather. Plus...I stay there, so that makes it worthwhile right there! :scholar:
Transportation: Call Reliable. Done. Now you don't need to worry about anything except having Happy Hour with me and Kelly while your cars get unloaded right inside the building.:beers:

That's just my advice.

See you next year!

Cheers
Dave

Thank Dave! I already contacted reliable to get a price for our Judge and Sons Grand National and they sent back this.. Notes:
"we do not have pricing for this event at this time. please check back September 2018; Transport via closed carrier"

Huh?

I also looked at the motel to reserve and found the same thing. Too early. grrr. I cant wait to meet you guys and tip a few back with my wife Terry, Son Frank and you two!

Steve Shauger 10-31-2017 07:29 PM

Wow Bob, and much appreciated. This magazine definitely hits all the key area of interests and defines what this show has to offer. Great promotional tool.....

A big thanks to all that contributed:beers:

A12pilot 11-01-2017 12:02 AM

Ha! JEEZE Frank....i thought I was the eager-beaver in trying to get reservations early! Lol. No... just wait until about March or so of next year. Bob will announce the Official Hotel list and they'll be a link on his site to reserve the rooms wherever you want.

As far as Reliable goes.... contact Bob Sellers sometime around May/ June and talk about reserving a spot. There's no real rush on that since they put your name in a group of people around you for scheduling the pickup. So don't feel if you if you don't get in contact with Mr. Sellers immediately you'll miss it. All will be good.

I'll be bringing the S-Code 68 Mustang GT Fastback nect year, so I'll be doing the same thing I did this year: reserve my hotel March/April and then get on the list with Reliable when I see them at the Mecum Auction here in Houston in April. Then, come September. Call Reliable to confirm I'm on the list.

Hope that helps!

Cheers
Dave

I know Bob. I am trying to make plans for us to come out this year just to see it without the cars.. Stay tuned.. :)

69_Mean_Mopar 11-01-2017 04:42 PM

The Challenger as we now call her "Black Beauty" is a super cool car and story. The real significance this car has to offer to Hardcore Mopar buffs and folklore all these years comes to light. That story will be told that weekend. The Police officer who ordered it was way ahead of his time. I am glad his family and him and the car are getting there due after all these years. Truly a one of one car and story.

Thanks to Bob and all involved for great magazine and all the people and cars that make
a top notch show, thanks again.

Bob and the MCACN team, what a show and great mag to wet the appetite as they say. This will be my 4th consecutive year and do not wish to miss an event in the future while hopefully bringing another car out next year.
And special thanks for all your help,
Chick

First class job on the magazine, Bob. I got my copy a couple of days ago. Many thanks for the coverage of my #1 '67 Z-28. I'm getting pretty excited for the show to finally get here. It's always a great time, I just wish the show lasted longer.

Jon; you have done an incredible job in coordinating the 1967 Z-28 Invitational display. I have to believe this will be the finest gathering of 67's ever gathered in one place.

The MCACN team salutes you! As I often say...just close your eyes for a minute and visualize this lineup...

Mcacn...

Bob...just took a quick look at this year's magazine...very nice.

The judging component with young people and the great charitable efforts are really special.
