Looks like a nice cruiser ...

Very nice car. I l liked the early Chevy Caprices Except it's a little plain no options for a caprice. 3 on the tree, no power steering no power brakes, no air, and a 283 to pull it.

Evening Orchid - very nice!

Craig_Maiorana 09-26-2017 04:31 PM

That car is pristine ... no outer mirrors now that is nutty

The mirrors were an option in `65. That is probably the least optioned `65 Caprice you will ever find. Nice clean car though.

Nice. I'd like to have it. Got the right number of pedals.

Nice!

You're not seeing its strong suits:

- Color
- Rarity of the tranny for a Caprice
- 1st year for Caprice

I myself don't care for 3 on the tree, but this car has so much going for it because it's just so damn different.

I love the color
And it’s so clean too!
Three on the tree too!
Nice (but it’s a four door)...

4 door hard top.

My dad had a '67 Impala 4 door hard top with the 275 HP 327. It was a very low mile survivor in very good condition. He only got about $7000 out of it.

Still has the cardboard trunk side panels.

I learned to drive in my dad's 1969 Impala sport sedan; 6 cylinder, 3 on the tree, manual steering and brakes.

Cool car. Yes, it counts. I wonder what a 1965 Corvette coupe would look like in Evening Orchid?

GM Powertrain 09-28-2017 12:38 PM

Love the Evening Orchid color. Grandfather had a "65 Impala SS in that color with a black vinyl top. Dynamite looking car.

Nice Car! Evening Orchid is stunning in person. I like that the guy says, if you aren't going to preserve it I won't sell it to you!
