Want to trade a blue line Fuel Gauge for one of those Amps!?
|
I'd be happy to help you out with a trade. I would need to see a picture.
The problem with the restored Amps gauges is that I don't have a shunt for them. I'm planning on visiting and electrical guru that said he may be able to help me. I haven't done that yet. :( I've never heard of anyone being able to use them without the shunt ???? ALSO, Please know that my restored gauges look better than new !!! I use glass not plastic lenses. If you're matching and mounting next to original gauges, you may want me to put a good used polished PLASTIC lens back on a gauge for you. TTYL, Dominic |

Anything here grab you?

Hello Gary,
I'd like to have the two black brackets on the lower left of the picture. Also the black strap with two holes, third from the bottom on the right. I can't tell if the little setup above the strap is another one or not ??? Also the third item down on the right side. Bracket that holds a gauge to a flat panel. kind of funny shaped one. Let me know what you'd like for that stuff !!!! I can trade for a restored gauge too !!!! I would think you'd have good luck selling the other stuff on eBay. Thank You, Dominic |

I will work on getting you a picture. It's an unrestored gauge that I've never tested or installed. I'm also not familiar with how the amp gauge hooks up, so I'm not much help when it comes to needing the shunt or not. The other gauges I have in the trio are unrestored too so I would want an amps gauge that matches the rest. The car is ratty and unrestored anyway. Thank you! Dave |
AMP Instructions

Here's all the AMP instructions I have. I don't think it would be a good idea to try an AMP gauge without the shunt !!! Not sure why the first picture is sideways :(
