I HAVE BEEN TOLD ALL 8 CAPTIVE NUTS ARE CORRECT AND THEN ALSO TOLD 4 CAPTIVE NUTS & 4 ACORN NUTS ARE CORRECT ??

Acorn nuts were used till around May 1969. There have been some good conversations on this on the CRG with survivor examples if you do a search.

If you take a look at JohnZ's over on CRG, his is one of the nicest untouched Zs and he has pics specifically of the trunk spoiler nuts. He just recently sold it. |

The early cars got the acorns and some where around May they got the captive nuts
