1966 Oldsmobile Toronado
Not actually a "Muscle Car", but it does have a 425 / 385 Horsepower Engine https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...2-dsc00855.jpg

Re: 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado
Nice looking car. 60s cars look odd without the driveshaft tunnel.

Re: 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado
Those 66 Toro's are very cool cars, a good friend just restored one of these a couple years back. They have several very cool features that put these cars ahead of their time like the rolling speedometer, floor mat built right into the carpet, and front and rear door handle on the huge doors so the door can be opened by the front passenger or the passenger from the rear seat. Very cool car, GLWS!

Re: 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado
It shows 21,754 miles, but I believe it is 121,754 due to the engine needing to be bored .030 when it was rebuilt. I am the 3rd Owner. It came out of Jim McCormick's collection in the Mountains of Gold Run California

Re: 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado
Congrats to Both parties. Based on all the work Bill did to the car, the buyer certainly got a good value.
The TORO engines pull like a freight train, very fun to drive. |
