As a young boy at Wrigley in the early '70's.....It was the beer that I remember all Cub fans drinking.

Yes,Jack was there then,Harry came over to the Cubs beginning in '82 after being with the Whitesox from 1971-1981 on Ch.44.

My brother told me that his son (my nephew) has a dilemma....he can use his ticket and go to the game on Sunday, or he can sell it and pay his car off [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif[/img]

They are both already going to Saturday's game.

I was rooting for the Cubs since my Giants are out but I like the Indians also. Now I'm kinda just hoping for a good series.

They are the earliest formed active professional sports club in North America. The name &quot;Cubs&quot; first appeared in print in 1902 and gained popularity over the next four years, before becoming the sole nickname in 1906. Bill, i guess it would depend on if they win the first 2 and could finish it off on Sunday. if not pay the car off!
