1970 Nova Sleeper Chassis ***SOLD!!!***

1970 Nova Rolling Chassis – 2571 Original Miles! ***SOLD***

I’ve decided to sell my 1970 Nova as a rolling chassis. I started with a 2,494 mile barn find car (I drove it home from Blaine, WA and took it apart – total original miles are now 2,571). The chassis was built as a stock appearing sleeper, but underneath, inside and out, it’s pretty much the best of the best. Setup for BBC & Stick. The Nova still wears it’s original Fathom Blue paint and has much of the stock interior remaining. Rather than going into detail, the build can be seen here (9 + pages of build):

https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...ect#Post654936

Here are some photos of where I started, and here are several photos of the roller in my garage. I’m waiting on new wheels and tires (15X5’s on the front and 15X8’s on the back with P275-60R-15 Drag Radials). They’re stock style steel wheels and they’ll be painted and the stock dog dish hubcaps will be installed. The wheels and tires will be on the car in a couple of weeks and I’ll update this ad with more photos.

Price: $35,000. I have a set of Hooker LS swap headers, Hooker 3-inch LS swap exhaust, LS motor mounts and a six speed transmission crossmember I can negotiate separately with the sale.

Please PM me if you’re interested. Thank you.

Great point Stefano! It would make an absolutely Bad to the Bone combination

I should also mention, this is a US car -- and very (very) easy to return to the USA.

Re: 1970 Nova Sleeper Chassis - 2,571 Original Miles!

I've posted quite a few photos of the new rolling stock on the build thread:

https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...hassis-project

Here are few photos (I'll eventually run it outside once it stops raining...geez I'm sick of it):

The front wheels are 15X5's with Cooper P205-75R15's
The back tires are 15X8's with Nitto P275-60R-15 Drag Radials

Here's a look at the Nova with the dog dish hubcaps in place with the new wheel & tire combination:

Thanks for the kind words Pete!

Another Important Note:

For those interested, this is originally a US-car. It is very easily returned to the USA. There is no duty or additional tax, however the buyer will be responsible for a brokerage fee of approximately $270 as well as a bond fee of approximately $70. I can help you locate a shipping company that will facilitate the brokerage and bond process. Car can be shipped out of Vancouver, BC, Canada area to save you $$$.

Pricing is too high for you Larry. Take that for what its worth.

You should also tell them the whole story. You wanted me to return the car to stock. Then you wanted it as it is. Then you wanted it as is, but with two sets of wheels and tires. Then you changed your mind again. We had a deal multiple times and you backed out each and every time. Because you couldn't get your way, you swore at me on the telephone, told me to "XXXX-Off" and later came back several times begging to buy the car with new even lower, low ball offers. Then you hounded me through social media and low balled me once more with an offer that was $5,000 less than you agreed to pay in the first place. To quote you in your last rant: "That's how I get what I want".

Shipping is what it is. I offered to haul it to the BC mainland at my own expense in order to save you $$$. Aside from that shipping is out of my control and I can't change the costs or the location of the car. It's sad when facts get distorted because I refuse to bend to ever changing terms.

And finally Larry, you should check the rules on this board for making comments as you have done on for sale items.

I absolutely LOVE this car. Does $35,000 for a roller sound like a lot of money? It would if it were an ordinary Nova; I see NOTHING ordinary about thus car. The build on this car is exactly how I would've done it if money was no object. Wayne literally wrote the book on assembling these cars! Actually several books! If my garage wasn't bursting at seams, I'd seriously think about making a play for this one. Impossible to duplicate in many ways. GLWS

When you start adding up what it cost to restore/rebuild a car like this and the level of the build/craftsmanship ... 35K is spot on! TAZ

I agree 100%....I have purchased parts from Wayne before and can vouch for his honesty and integrity. He is a no BS guy and once you agree on a price your purchase(s) will arrive in a timely manner and as advertised.

Thanks for all of the compliments folks. I do appreciate it. The Nova is a great car. And the truth is, I simply need to find a legitimate buyer (perhaps a good chance there is someone on this board) who is straight up, has the $$$ resources and isn't into playing games

Thanks once more!
