1969 Camaro SS RS 396 375 L89
Up for sale is a real L89 396/375 Camaro , hugger orange black vinyl top black hockey strip and black deluxe (comfort weave )interior. the options include 396/375 with aluminum heads , m21 4 speed , 12 bolt 4.10 posi , front dics brakes , power steering , cowl hood , bumper guards ,rally wheels 14x7 with the correct wide oval tires ,spoilers front and rear , am/fm radio , tack and gauge package, console. rosewood wheel .correct born with jj code 396 block , this car has been in a private collection for the last 15 years . paper work includes an original pro-tect-o plate . The car has a concourse restoration with a perfect orange paint job . We are in the process of installing the smog equipment and the jack and spare tire . Agree, beautiful car. Too bad those later years Firestone tires are on it, but an easy fix for several hundred dollars. GLWS

You have a point when seen a 1969 SS Chevelle Don,as those are specifically 1970 Firestone Wide Oval tires.
But for a '69 Camaro,couldn't those tires be considered correct,due to the longer overlapping Camaro production running into the 1970 model year? |

I had spoken to the owner in the 90's and have a copy of the POP. I believe the owner then name was Bobby, and his son had a Z28 that may have been blue with a brown vinyl top. I'll see if I have any notes on the car. I'd really like to see the paint removed from the engine pad.

The owner in the 90's was Bobby Eubanks in Memphis, TN. Not sure why I didn't buy the car but will do some digging.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the 69 Camaro model year went to March, 1970 - thought it was December or January or something in that neighbourhood????? |
