1968 396 Impala
Finally had some decent weather here in Michigan and was able to get the 68 Impala out to the first cruise night of the season.

----What a beauty!!! The chrome bullet sort of things on the front fender don't look like the GM light monitors I'm used to seeing. I'm assuming they are factory, right???......Bill S

I think those are add ons. The factory light monitors are much flatter and were on several different body styles and years like these.

Re: 1968 396 Impala
Not sure if they're factory or not . May have been added on. They come on clear when the headlights are on.

----That's what I would have thought, Rick. Thanks.......Bill S

Re: 1968 396 Impala
Those are turn signal indicators from a 64-66 T-bird.
Nice to see a correct '68 396 4spd. air cleaner instead of an aftermarket open element. I see the remainder of the smog system still there too. Nice!! |
Re: 1968 396 Impala
Wow a Big Block 4 speed 1968 Impala Convert. That's my favorite big car of all time.
