Cragar SS 15x8

I'm looking for a pair of vintage 15X8 Cragar SS wheels. They must be for 4.75 GM bolt pattern with 4.25-4.5” backspace.

I may consider unilug with round spokes only.

I don't want to order new wheels as the spokes are different than the old ones.

Thanks, Kurt

I picked up one a few weeks ago. If you are lucky enough to find another orphan let me know. Good luck!

Sounds good Paul.....what is the backspace of the wheel you bought?

I'll have to verify, but pretty sure 4.5.

What tires you gonna run?

You may want to check out Cragar SS Aficionados on Facebook. There's a couple guys on there who have collected a lot of Cragars and have sold some on there. Also, Whitetop on here, aka David Miller, may have a line on some as he's a big Day 2 guy.

Paul, I want to put a set of vintage M&H Racemaster slicks on them.

Thanks for the heads up Mark.....I'll do that.

Thanks, Kurt

After a long exhausting search for these wheels, I finally found a pair.

In less than 12 hours of posting on Facebook that I wanted a pair of wheels, I had a guy contact me. These are the very hard to find straight lug Cragars and they are from the early 70’s....they even have vintage Firestone slicks on them!!!

Man, that is great! Christmas came early. That source is good to know. They will look great on your car. And already have screws:burnout:

No......Iowa. Although I have to get time to go there and pick them up. These were not advertised for sale anywhere.

My dilemma is, I have vintage/period correct M&H Racemaster drag slicks......I absolutely love them but the owner said I’ll really like the Firestone slicks that are on them now and that they look period correct too!

Nice score on the Cragars and vintage Firestone slicks Kurt.
I see your dilemma, those M&H Racemasters look terrific!

Go with the Firestones. :burnout:
If you don't want them,I & 3 other guys I know would be interested in them.

Firestone's Drag 500's are pretty cool Kurt. I bought a set here earlier this year and they are worth a good buck on their own depending on the condition.

I’m not sure if they’re 500’s.......I can’t tell in the picture.
