8.2 liters 500 cubic inches.......no LS required. If there ever was a true land yaht , this is it.

That's why many referred to it and the Tornados as "Nimitz" ... with the long hood -- looked like an aircraft carrier. Had a Tornado up in Illinois and it was awesome in the snow ... road like a Greyhound bus ... TAZ

Great price for one that well preserved. I sold a 70 or 71 (can't remember now) DeVille convertible that wasn't nearly as nice for more than that a few years ago.
If I were in the market for another giant car (I have one, and think that is all I need) I would sure be interested in this one.

Neat car, good price. I had a NOS black steering wheel still in the wrapper for this car and I recently sold it thinking I would never find a use for it!

What did that sell for if you don't mind me asking?

$750. It's a pretty rare part. Though (I believe) the steering wheel design was the same through 76, in 1971 Cadillac started to color-key the wheel to the rest of the interior
(whereas all 69-70 wheels are black). Finding an NOS wheel for a rare interior color is near impossible. But nothing is as rare as the one-year-only 69 rim-blow wheel.

This company advertises that they can restore a 70-76 inlaid wheel. I have no direct experience, but I have read positive feedback on the Cadillac Lasalle Club forum.

Did you have to take a photo in Panorama mode in order to get that in one frame. Those were huge! I had a 73 Olds Delta 88 Convert from 75-79, it was nicknamed the "pimp truck"

Yeah, first time I drove the DeVille vert to the shop my nephew dubbed it the "Pimp Daddy Caddy".

I didn't think of using the panoramic view option, but that could work.
