Sooooo...what winter projects do you have planned?
The Equinox just happened, and winter is here. Although, you wouldn't notice it around here! Almost 80 on X-mas is the forecast!
So, what projects do have planned this winter? Other than hustling on my Super Bee restoration, I'm planning to build a new, larger, paint booth. Also, I'm going to put fuel injection on the 64 Corvette. So, what's on your "to do" list? Cheers Dave |

May do some small maintenance type items...organize some parts and clean up the shop a little. Working on a 1974 C10 right now.
wilma **regarding the beginning of winter...it is the 'winter solstice'...the 'equinox' refers to a date where night and day are of equal length. [spring and fall] The winter solstice is the shortest day of the year...summer solstice is the longest day of the year. |

Right, solstice. Not Equinox. Good catch! Sounds like there's some good projects planned for some! Looking forward to hearing the updates on them. Cheers Dave |

Re: Sooooo...what winter projects do you have planned?
This winter I plan to pull the top half of my 68 GTO engine to see why the #7 cylinder is dead. Hoping to get that running right and maybe, just maybe, get it painted next year. I've also got the 71 Ventura that I bought from Marty (Hawkeye) that could use a little lift and tuck on the body and a new set of pneumatic rollers. I bought some nice Ralley II's for it, just need some meats on them.
I also need to finish drywall and lighting for my detached garage. That should keep me busy for the next 5 years. That is the plan unless something else unexpected shows up in the garage...... Phil W. PS. Also plan to stop at Dave's shop to check out the Bee progress, maybe push the broom around a bit. |

I got nuthin....

Re: Sooooo...what winter projects do you have planned?
Change the oil pan to the proper B body pan on my Biscayne. Also on the Biscayne, change from the long water pump configuration to the short one. I have already gathered most of the parts for that. On my LS1 '53 Studebaker I will be changing my AC mount from a Street and Performance system to one from Holley that uses a spring loaded tensioner instead a solid one. Those should keep me busy.
