63 Garage find
5 Attachment(s)
Found this car about a mile from the Enderly center where we go to a car show a couple times a month.Bought it from the daughter of the original owner.Unusual car as it is the cheap charlie Tempest body and a low CR 1 bbl 4 cyc engine with a 3 speed stick BUT with the deluxe interior with padded dash and deluxe clear steering wheel.Car is at the top shop now, needs carpet and interior cleaning.Amazing condition on the original seats.Tom

----What a cutie, Tom!!! I had a neighbor a bit older than me who had a 326 3-speed convert new. Always thought they were handsome. Little bugger was quick. Id love to find one of those, but they seem to be nonexistant......Bill S

Re: 63 Garage find
There is a club site called the Little Indians,do a search. They are connected and might be able to help find one.The first car I bought was a 63 326HO 3 speed lemans coupe.Tom

Re: 63 Garage find
These are such cool little cars. For those that haven't ridden in one, the interior is basically like a 1964 GTO, but much narrower. The seats are standard Pontiac units, so with buckets, there's no room for a console. It's a cozy cockpit. From the driver's seat you can reach over and touch the passenger side armrest quite easily.
And imagine this little car with a 421 Super Duty. |
Re: 63 Garage find
I have a 63 lemans coupe with a correct 421 SD,big car rear end with a TKO.Started life as a 4 cyc auto,my boys drove it to high school and then I changed it over.Is sitting above the convert right now.Tom
