Their 350cid.looks similar to a '67 I know of from Ron Normann.
Still with it's 12 bolt posi rearend,it was later given to a trade school after retiring from the auto show circuit. Rons detailed story of where he found it,and then setting it up in his shop is absolutely incredible. <object width="425" height="350"> <param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/ay6f_0ADK6k"></param> <param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param> <embed src="https://www.youtube.com/v/ay6f_0ADK6k" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"> </embed></object> |

That blue 69 will probably be forsale when it is back together

Re: Pair of cutaway Chevy V8 engines
If it's a '66 engine, why is it rated at 385 hp?

Is that mark's car or Rick's ?? Rick's 69 Camaro cutaway car was found in a junkyard in Australia...the other car was the car I wanted to buy....when John A owned it....I hope it wasnt repainted....the odometer shows only 16 miles if I remember correctly |

I think it's supposed to be a 1967 engine. The article stated it was at the 1964-1965 World's Fair, then mentioned the 427 was introduced in 1966, and I'm guessing the engine display is for the 1967 427 with the 385 hp rating. |

Re: Pair of cutaway Chevy V8 engines
That is a 1968 Impala engine. It was in fact rate at 385HP. 1 year only air cleaner gives it away.
