I've only ever seen one real set before and that was a picture. Guy owned them for 40 years. I'm wondering how one was black and one was white!

Dan, these are original 1968 Camaro Z28 headers made by Kustom for Chevrolet. Part numbers 3942501 and 3942502.

Chances are that I touched those headers when they were brand new. I would stop by the little shop on my bicycle that Kustom had at that time. The guys would say &quot;hey, move that pile over there to the box pile&quot;.

The little cement block building is still there today. You would never guess that is where Kustom started making headers. They moved to Standish Michigan to a real manufacturing facility. The block building was behind Thurmon Stanley's Sunoco station. The local drag racers hung out there. On Sunday mornings, they would all meet there before the drags at Lapeer or Ubly. I can remember a lot of the cars and their names that were lettered on them. They all treated me pretty good. I was the paperboy.
