1964 CALIFORNIA EL CAMINO
Here's my new ride.Made in LA/VAN NUYS 1964 Chevelle El Camino.Factory a/c,power windows,p.s.and brakes.1968 L79 Corvette block,700r-4 transmission and 3:73 12 bolt.All original body panels.Painted 10 years ago...looks great!Lowered a bit to give it that ''California rake.''P.S.ignore the license plates...haven't registered the 1964 plates yet that came with the car.https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...0-100_0262.jpg

There are some huge long hours of body work on this Camino. Very nice. Reminds be of CA. in the early 80`s....El Camino Real Drive was abundant with cars just like this.

Beautiful El Camino, I had a 65 way back for many years. BTW- the bed cover gas supports are up side down. It should always be shaft don in the open position., I used to design them for OEM's years ago. Shaft down so that the oil can keep the seals wet so that you don't damage them if they stay open too long and go to close it.
