1967 Camaro 14" Wheel
A nice old man down the street from me still has his 1967 Camaro he bought new here.I featured his car a few years back. Now nearing his 80's,he's getting the bug to get the camaro back on the road and we're going through the whole car, engine etc..
Among other things,it's missing it's spare wheel in the trunk. He's wanting to find an original wheel,(preferably with the original tire),but will just take the rim first. It's not a Super Sport, but rather a 327cid,so I think that's a 14X5 code B rim used on the Impala & Chevy II too?. Do disc brakes up front matter? Is this a riveted wheel? It does have hubcaps,no trim rings or derby caps. Thanks for any input. |
Re: 1967 Camaro 14" Wheel
I know the std/base cars used a 14X6 FC code on the Drum brake cars, non-riveted. The disc brake rims are different. I can shoot you a pic if needed, I just finished a set of 67 dated FC 14X6...

Re: 1967 Camaro 14" Wheel
I have a few FC wheels laying around. I do not see any std. rim offered for 67 disc brake? http://www.camaros.org/suspen.shtml#Wheels

Re: 1967 Camaro 14" Wheel
The standard wheel for disc brakes in 1967 is the rally wheel and on a non SS it would be 14x5.
