Old School pre 1972 JONES MOROSO
Mechanical 9 Grand Tach.

Brass ring is for in dash Marine use...Chrome body.,water proof seal.....great Face of old
MOROSO Insignia and one on the Body....
I slid it under the Dash Pad. & Looks Killer.. .

The chrome w/brass

Tom I have an 2-3 old Moroso catalog and they did not have brass ones listed. The original ring around the Moroso tachs was chrome plated.. I think somone removed the chrome and buffed the underlaying brass.

Have never seen a brass ringed one and have sold approx 30-40 of these over the years.

I have to agree with Whitetop. I have, and have had many of, that same tach along with the Stahl and high end Jones. I have never seen a brass/copper ring. The 10K is probably more appropriate for the SBC then a BBC.

I contacted the company that makes the repo Corvette cables and they would make a cable of any length if you supplied the correct Moroso/Jones round ends.

Do they chrome the cables? I have multiple cables in varying lengths, but they are not chromed.

I'm going with you guys that someone buffed off the chrome.... non of my MOROSO Catalogs show brass either but my years start in72.....this, with the Decals in old school , but W/O Jones....predates 72....
I'm cool with it regardless.....
I do Need an Old School Decaled Bracket &amp; Jones Cable to the Tach - Distributor

Any body have real nice stuff to sell or trade ?
