Wouldn't you love to see that happening and have a crow bar in your hand! Nothing worse than a thief!

That's like going to a cockfight with a duck. Nothing short of an AK.. I'm not condoning it, but I would understand.

Born and raised in metro Detroit and I would never leave my car unattended anywhere. When I lived closer to the Detroit I would always park my cars (toys) in my garage on jack stands with the tires and rims in the basement. The garage was darn near bullet proof but no one was getting my pride and joy. Wife always called me paranoid. I don't understand people leaving their cars.

This had to be a set-up -- how the hell do they not keep track of these cars??? TAZ

Sadly, this has kept me from attending some shows in that area. Just don't feel safe about leaving my rig sit overnight. Just not worth it.

Makes something like this well worth the investment.

http://www.dewaltmobilelock.com/

Many contractors and travelling musicians are using these on their equipment trailers and vehicles with good recovery results. It's a crying shame that these are necessary, but we know what reality is.

Maybe I'm too old school -- I think an M18 Claymore is entirely appropriate for the low-life bastards ... then they can explain their actions to the All Mighty! TAZ

The Papa John's Camaro has been found. Found

No doubt the thieves figured out that FNing with a billionaire and the resources he could utilize were a mistake.

When this sort of thing happens I get knots in my stomach. To think of all the passion, time and money put into these cars and then some lowlife just takes it all away.

With 2 out of 3 Recovered intact is remarkable..
With the 10's of 1,000s of cars congregating there its amazing only 3 thefts were reported.

Super Chevy events over the decades have lost dozens +
Other venues have had more taken as well.....
Even the Carlisle events have lost cars ...especially the Corvette events.

A friend of mine had a couple skid steers & trailers stolen & now all his equipment has a GPS locator installed on them.

Yeah, I read that the Papa John's Camaro was a replica of his original one the they use for shows, cruises, and some races. And, the pic they showed of when they found it, it was driven in between two garages or buildings with lots of greenery covering most of the front of the car. Glad they got it back.
