Any Day2 pics of American Racing Daisy 200s?
Anyone have any Day2 pictures of American Racing Daisy 200s wheels?
What years were these produced, early-mid 70's? |
Re: Any Day2 pics of American Racing Daisy 200s?
I know of a car that got a set in 1970. 15 x 7 in front and 15 x 8 in rear.

Re: Any Day2 pics of American Racing Daisy 200s?
I think of them as a early to mid 70's style of wheel.

Re: Any Day2 pics of American Racing Daisy 200s?
The 200-S "Daisy" wheels came out in very late 1968 or very early '69. They were used on the Bud Moore Mustangs and other cars in the Trans-Am series in 1969.

One of the car magazines tested a '69 Camaro with 200S wheels. Car Craft maybe?
EDIT: August 1969 CD "Blue Maxi." http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...ed-test-review |

Re: Any Day2 pics of American Racing Daisy 200s?
Was that it Tom, Quick Silver?!?!?!? That would be brilliant if it was, and probably worth redoing. Hmmmm....
And whew, that young lass in the pic with the Daytona on the prior page is smoking, whew. Nice pic. |
Re: Any Day2 pics of American Racing Daisy 200s?
Actually it is two cars. Yes - it was a Hemi boat he towed around with this car. The girl in the pic is Claudia - She was one of the Mopar "Direct Connection" poster girls. Pic was from the Nationals in Indy sometime in the 80's. Here is a pic of her now....signing that very pic! And another of her at the 2014 Nats. Still looks good!! Re: Any Day2 pics of American Racing Daisy 200s?
Tom, Thanks so much for finding that out. I had a '78 Trans Am that was silver over red that I was actually going to get the license plate "QK SLVR" for and a B&M Quicksilver shifter before I (unfortunately) wrecked it. Appreciate you following up with that.
I couldn't see the Daddy's Toy in those pics, but I'll have to go over them with a bigger magnifying glass, lol. Hope you're doing well. |

Re: Any Day2 pics of American Racing Daisy 200s?
I purchased a 63 Vette roadster & it came with a set of those American Daisy wheels. Took them off, put stock rims & hubcaps & put them in storage & haven't used them.

|
Re: Any Day2 pics of American Racing Daisy 200s?
No, 15 X 7s all around. I've been looking for 8s or 8.5s for a while.
