When a re-colored, over-restored "black" one goes for $200G+ what does that say about this one?

Sorry Dan, but I can't remember.

While I was shooting pics, I remember the guy was talking about how happy he was to find the correct tires for this car at some old tire store in, I believe, Winslow. I was half listening to him. Shaun (Galveston) knows quite a bit about this car.

Oh Lord -- pray the new owner doesn't mess with the classic survivor ... leave it the heck alone and continue to show it!!

I have no idea. Just happened to see it on Craigslist.

Car looks like it sat outside for years in that desert sun,not garaged much. All I can say is (sweet)...

mockingbird812 04-18-2015 02:14 PM

Re: 600-mile L79 Nova

If that were the case (sitting out in the sun) the original interior would not have made it.

Re: 600-mile L79 Nova

Saying this car has 600 miles is an injustice! This car is closer to 500 miles.

Re: 600-mile L79 Nova

How would this car be classified? A survivor? New interior and the engine bay underside appear to be have been redone.

Re: 600-mile L79 Nova

I'm sorry but I see no reason not to paint the car now. Everything else has been painted and or replaced.

Re: 600-mile L79 Nova

Wonder why the interior was so bad it needed replaced? My 16,000 mile 67 ss car still has all the orig bright blue interior but it needs some work.Seems the colored interiors really didn,t hold up well with heat and sun fading like black did..
