Hurst Straight-line / Ram Rod shifter
 

I have an early Hurst Straight-line shifter. I forget the exact name it's called.
This is the shifter and linkage, but no boot.
I believe it's for a Muncie.
Asking $450

I think it was called the &quot;Ram Rod Inline&quot;. I had one in my Z11 Pace Car back in high school circa 1978. I really butchered the tranny tunnel to make it fit but it sure was a cool contraption!. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img]

That's a decent deal as a NOS one sold last year for somewhere in the range of $1400

This is the early design that has the flat chrome reverse lever.
The later version had a round black handle for reverse.

This early style was known at the Ram-4. I like the way the rev stick is chrome, but have never used one. I wonder how different it is from the Vertigate- which I have tens of thousands of miles on.

Saw that, but that was a below normal sale price, and it was the later style reverse arm and mounts.
I will listen to reasonable offers on mine.

Thats a good price, but the pull-up rod is wore pretty good where it goes thru the handle loop... Crash
