1968 Oldsmobile Ram Rod W31
1968 Oldsmobile Ram Rod W31
This is a real deal, documented RAM ROD. One of only 500 produced and the only known Black with Red. It still maintains a lot of originality and has not been restored. It runs and drives good as it is, but will need to be restored in order to be a show car. The body overall is very solid, with repairable rust at the bottoms of the front fenders and rear quarters. Trunk Pans and floor pans are very solid. Frame is very dry and clean too. Price is $27,500.00 https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...am_rod_115.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...am_rod_117.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...am_rod_120.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...am_rod_121.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...am_rod_123.jpg |

Re: 1968 Oldsmobile Ram Rod W31
The guys who keep track of these cars only have a small fraction of total production accounted for. Many that have been for sale or sold at auction over the past few years have either had no docs or been made up cars.

Re: 1968 Oldsmobile Ram Rod W31
Power steering? Posi,Ratio? Miles? Still have the correct Balancer? 68 and 70 are my favorites. Almost had a White 68 442 as my first car back in 74.
Thanks, Steve. |

Re: 1968 Oldsmobile Ram Rod W31
The Ram Rod has sold and it's going to a great home.
The late John Lingenfelter's brother and John himself drag raced a Ram Rod back in the day. It will undergo a complete concours restoration and is planned to be debuted at a future MCACN show. John's brother bought it. |
