Re: Lost Muscle Cars
Just to give some hope to everyone out there, Facebook worked for me trying to find an old Camaro I was looking for. Quite a few months ago I put a couple posts out in some car-related groups on FB that I was looking for a specific '68 Camaro and about three weeks ago a guy in the group (David Miller) posted up a link to an eBay auction and attached my name and it was the exact car I hadn't seen for 30 years and I was able to buy it. So, don't give up hope and I'd suggest putting your message out on numerous groups what you're looking for and you just might find it. The interweb has made the world a lot smaller place. Good luck.

Re: Lost Muscle Cars
Facebook as much as I hate it has been great as far as finding old friends and cars. Even FINALLY located a photo of a 68 Yenko Camaro at the drag strip that I was hoping to find and completely by accident. The internet can be a great thing.

Re: Lost Muscle Cars
That's a great setup, I enjoyed some of the folks posting on their cars. Going to make that a favorite. Btw, had fun parking next to you at the barn finds this past November. That car you have is quite interesting.

Re: Lost Muscle Cars
Thanks Bob! It's sure a lot of fun in that section. Plus you don't feel guilty for setting up chairs :-)

Re: Lost Muscle Cars
can't wait to get a copy!

Re: Lost Muscle Cars
Correct Steve. I've found that these cars are moving targets. Rick is helping with providing pics of his T/A. The story is an incredible read regardless.
Also, I believe we're really close to updating the Grumpys Toys Camaro story too. Better get this book published before more info changes lol. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: njsteve</div><div class="ubbcode-body">The missing last T/A ragtop was recently found, too. </div></div> |

Re: Lost Muscle Cars
Hi there, can add yenko nova story, to your post. An iowa/nebraska dealer ,Mac chevrolet sold many supercars, #22 zl1 black copo etc .three 69 yenko novas . One LB found original owner, sold, believe it's in NY. FG found . Third missing, crashed and ended up in a body shop Harlan,IA, all emblems removed repainted possible yellow. I purchased two of the yenko badges from bodyshop sitting in a junk box . rumors of the car being a terror in that area, for years street racing , story ends . Body shop didn't save records of transaction. I did link someone with access to Mac chevy records verifying vins and paperwork.

Re: Lost Muscle Cars
I've been looking for a hugger orange 69 Camaro SS vert with std black interior with fold down rear seat that I sold in the late 70's near Auburn/Syracuse NY. It had a narrow rear spoiler on it in primer and appliance dia-mags at the time. Last seen in the early 80's...

Re: Lost Muscle Cars
Share photos if you can.
FYI, the book is now in the warehouse :-) I look forward to feedback on the book, good and bad :-) <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: yellow69RSZ</div><div class="ubbcode-body">I've been looking for a hugger orange 69 Camaro SS vert with std black interior with fold down rear seat that I sold in the late 70's near Auburn/Syracuse NY.
