Re: Saw these Yenko pics on 70's Street machine site
I owned that Deuce -- there is a story behind why the flares were added ... if I had it to do over again and knew at that time what the Yenko Deuce' was worth, you can bet I would have gone a different route. The TAZ

I can imagine...up here in the midwest you used to see a lot of really rare cars with flared fenders....

Yep -- that poor car got ran into parked in front of the house -- backed into a number of times. I really thought people could not see a silver car. UGH!!!

A local guy near me had a original 440 6 pk 'Cuda and he flared it-rust free car in 1977 when the IMSA look was taking off in all the car mags..he sold the car for $3800 in '79-it was an ISCA show car. He is still kicking himself on both accounts |

Is it restored now? Or still customized 70's style? |
Re: Saw these Yenko pics on 70's Street machine site
I don't know -- I RECd a call from this fellow in Washington and he said he had bought the car. He wanted to know where the Yenko was delivered in Green Bay. We chatted for awhile and I never heard from him again. Marlin has indicated the car has been spotted a few times and still has the IMSA flares, etc.
