Any interest in a unrestored all orig 69 z28???
 

Guys seeing if there may be some interest for my 69 z28 i found.It has 33k orig miles and is the most orig z28 i have seen in a long time, under the hood its all orig down to the factory smog system(never removed) and all components ie :radiator,dist,alt,valve covers ,master cyl,recall strap,reverse lockout,even still has the orig E-70-15 speedway spare never used,all orig yh wheels, looks like someone just shut off the key in 1972.The drive train has never been removed or tampered with in any way not even fluffed or detailed since 1969 when it rolled off the assy line,This is a true all#s matching car born with drivetrain car with beautiful factory options of cowl induction,power steering ,tach@gauges ,spoilers,tint glass,am radio,373 posi,m20 trans.Has a old repaint and needs some tlc on the body but a super solid car that would easily pass for a survivor if it wasn't for a 30yr old respray this is the car to have espically if u can do your own paint work,these 69 z28 are starting to bring huge money again espically if u have a real honest car like this one ...asking 43k. serious interest please call... also going to be selling a real all #s matching 1of1 67 chevelle L79 proj car with fact a/c.. possible trades.570-854-0896

Proof is in the puddin Fast Eddie! One reapint, never taken apart, all numbers, engine never removed, original smog....thats your paperwork IMO. Sounds good to me.

They never made a 69 without headrest. They just charged for them on window stickers before the 1st of the year.

243,085 '69 Camaros were produced of which 242,750 came with headrests.

In 35+ years of looking,buying,selling 1969 Gm cars I personally have never seen an original car without headrest unless it was a butchered piece of crap. Just my observations.

A number of years ago there was a 69 Chevelle SS396 for sale by the original owner down in the Carolinas. He still had the original window sticker and it showed the headrest delete on the sticker.

Of course that is my 69 L-78 has been spoken about a couple times here on the board. Head rest delete bench seat 4-aspeed. Original owner wanted it that way so he could put his arm around his girl...

Weird but true stuff. My '69 W-31 was ordered to race and then sell (4th out of 4 race cars) and was a relatively early build----10b. The original paperwork lists the &quot;A82 Head Restraints&quot; as an option. At that point, the base price had not reflected the Federally Mandated change.

Come to think about it. Growing up as teenager in the mid sixties, many bench seat cars didn't have headrests. As for &quot;Original owner wanted it that way so he could put his arm around his girl&quot;... Sounds right to me. Then buckets came along which put distance between you and your date or spouse. Today, we are further distanced from our mates as a result of the cell phone. Just look at couples in restaurants or even at home. Killer Chevelle.
