Nice, but looks like it has the wrong header panel emblem on it.
Maybe repaired @ one time???

It looks like the correct emblem to me; I think the lighting makes it appear like a later year emblem. It does have the wrong fan shroud though. Still a nice car that I wouldn't mind owning.

Dicky, you need to get your info correct before you post something like that....

1970 one year only header emblem all chrome with a black cursive "C" in the middle and the one on this car is correct

Funny how you pick at the emblem on the header panel but you make no mention at all about the steering wheel being incorrect for a 1970....definitely the wrong steering wheel

Also has wrong shifter and shifter ball but you make no mention of that either!

No kidding. It must have been wrecked pretty bad to warrant an emblem replacement. The original wheel must have been bent from the driver hitting it in the wreck.

Looks like a nice car to me. I also like the signs in the background.

If the numbers check out it's a good buy for the money. Some easily correctable things. Hugger orange is a desirable color and was not available the following year in 1971 as a standard option color. The NK4 steering wheel was first available in 1971. Mike

1971 Z28?

Re: 1970 Z28 - craigslist

Looks like a 71 or later, can't make out the grille coarseness or the gas pedal. 71 was the last year for a floor mounted gas pedal (on a Z28). Could be a regular Camaro with some of the components of a Z28. Have any pictures of the engine?

Well Randy, I was not trying to post all the deficiencies of said car.
I figured you would do that.

However when I look at the posted picture, that header emblem is painted RED and not all chrome.

SORRY to have upset you for even posting a comment.

Unfriend me....

I'll check with you before I post anything again.

Yes, It's a '71 Z28 98% Born with well preserved survivor. It has the floor mounted gas pedal and the original rear bumper guards (small) and 100% original exhaust system including chrome tail pipes.
