Reliable

I just contracted with Reliable to pick up a car in Michigan for me.
I tried to give credit to this site for the connection, but it was hard on the Reliable site. I just wanted them to know that it was because of their support that I wanted to use them for car transport.

Nice Tim;

As I often say; let's support those who support us!

So...what did you get?

Re: Reliable

They picked up the car yesterday in Michigan. That was a one week spread, so I was very happy. It will be here tomorrow.

I went way out of my typical '67 Corvette zone. I've always wanted one of the beautiful Kirkham brushed aluminum Cobras that are hand built at the old Mig factory in Poland. I got a brushed aluminum with polished stripes and a Keith Craft 482 inch 650 horse motor. It has all of the Kirkham options. At 2,000 LB and 650 horse, it should be fun.

Re: Reliable

So far, I've had mixed results with Reliable, so they don't seem to be living up to their namesake. They shipped my 69 Nova to Deuce Heaven recently and I was pleased with pricing and service, however, after I accepted a quote more than three weeks ago to move a car from LA area to Atlanta, I can't get anyone to answer the phone in their west coast office, (Chandler, AZ) return a call, or send an email with a status update. Since I am overseas mostly, timing is critical to coincide with my travel back to the US and I felt with 6-weeks notice these guys could pick up and deliver a car between two major cities. Now I am down to 2 weeks before I return, and am concerned the car won't make it in time.

Anyone have a contact higher up in the company?

Try Bob Sellers at 480.496.8000. [email protected]
Or Fred Purol at [email protected]

Thanks for the quick response. I sent an email copying both, so hopefully will get an update before long. I'm losing hope my car will arrive while I am in the US, so that will potentially be very disappointing.

Re: Reliable

I did get an email from Bob Sellers, the GM for Reliable today and he personally followed up on my order and seemed confident they would be able to deliver the car while I am back in the US. I did appreciate his follow up and thanks to all who replied with contact info.

Re: Reliable

Reliable came through with a few days to spare and now it's safely in Atlanta having made the trip from CA in just under 5-days. Many thanks to Bob Sellers and his team at Reliable for their great service. Also thanks to SYC Member Jude for taking delivery until I'm back in a few days although he has been threatening to take it to the beach Smokey and the Bandit style.
