Johnny Norrell's COPO found in GA. It's been featured in a lot of car shows and cruise-in's. Neat car for sure

And it just got cooler! Do I spy a factory radio-delete plate? |

Re: Copo 69 camaro at Charlotte auto fair
Yes factory 456 gears and radio delete plate!
|
Re: Copo 69 camaro at Charlotte auto fair
So, would the 4.56 gears delivered new in this car be hardened gears like the 4.10 COPO rear gears or not? Are they different from 4.56 gears bought over the counter in 1969?
How many miles on this car? Thanks |
Re: Copo 69 camaro at Charlotte auto fair
Sam
I remember the 4.56 gears being called out on the window sticker as a option. And those were the only other special heat treated R&P set that I have known of. |
Re: Copo 69 camaro at Charlotte auto fair
Saw it at 2013 SLS.
Gotta love the old racers!!! |

Re: Copo 69 camaro at Charlotte auto fair
Too CL!!! Where's the car from and original dealer, does anyone know more of the story? Is the WS a copy of the real original, note the 9511 also great example of a different double Copo than the usual 9561 + 9737. Are any triple Copos know built or existing, '69 Camaros not Stinger 'Vairs? ~ Pete |
